The bug for loving to work with children bit me in 2002. To further my studies in education was the obvious choice. It was an easy decision to do so at the best college in the Western Cape. I finished my studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology at the end of 2007.
The idea was to teach the lower grades at a regular school, but things changed during December 2007 when I saw that SOS had a vacancy. I always had a love for the outdoors, so I decided to apply for the job.
I started working at SOS at the beginning of 2008 and ever since then, I have never looked back. Apart from my love for children, I am also passionate about hiking, animal studies, astronomy, photography, and the outdoors.
